If you’re new here, every month I share how I’m doing with my goals for the year. This includes personal, blogging/business, and of course financial goals. This post holds me accountable to the goals I set every year, but more importantly, it helps my readers to see that having financial goals in place are the key to succeeding with money. If you need help setting financial goals, make sure you read this post here on the steps to setting financial goals.

2017 Personal Goals
Work out 2x a week using these free videos. I’ve changed this goal to the below.
Complete all weekly exercises in the Body Boss program – so I did this consistently for 12 weeks straight but I’ve had to put this on the back burner while we get into our back-to-school routine. Hoping to pick this back up in a couple of months.
Complete Crystal’s 15 Days to a Healthier You Challenge Done.
I’m spending the rest of this year honing my French speaking skills. Didn’t make great progress with this one this month…

August is our middle child’s birth month so we got to spend lots of fun time celebrating the Big 4! My brother and his family were in town so of course Uncle Chris had to play a game of water gun war with them.

First day of school!
Set aside dedicated time for help with schoolwork and arts/crafts Wasn’t super consistent with this one – school starting kinda threw a wrench in the system.

Nothing to comment other than I’m oozing warm fuzzies for your little guy in his Mass uniform. My daughters are now sophomore and freshman in college, and I miss them in their plaid jumpers and knee socks back in elementary school! Good job on goals! I’m new to the blog and should probably get myself some goals, too!
