If you’re new here, every month I share how I’m doing with my goals for the year. This includes personal, blogging/business, and of course financial goals. This post holds me accountable to the goals I set every year, but more importantly, it helps my readers to see that having financial goals in place are the key to succeeding with money. If you need help setting financial goals, make sure you read this post here on the steps to setting financial goals.

2017 Personal Goals
Work out 2x a week using these free videos. I’ve changed this goal because I found something amazing that I’m working on. It’s called BodyBoss and it makes me want to cry but in a “it hurts so bad but it’s good” kind of way. I’m not an affiliate for them – I just honestly love their workout program. Check it out here. So my new goal is to follow their regime (even while we’re at the beach next week!). Fingers crossed that I can get this done!
Average 10,000 steps a day – 5 days a week (tracking this with my FitBit). So how about after little Miss Thang…a.k.a. my darling daughter, broke my phone she ran off with my FitBit and so I have no idea where it is or how many steps I’ve walked…oh how boring my life would be without children! 😂
Complete Crystal’s 15 Days to a Healthier You Challenge Done.

Spend one hour every day with just Pat. Totally failed at this one….
Take one secluded vacation with Pat this year (This might not actually happen – read this post for our crazy financial month, but we’re discussing possibly pushing the vacation towards the end of the year instead of in the summer.)
Little Miss Hot Mess…
2017 Mothering Goals
Take my children on a fun outing once-a-month (Done. We went to Scottsdale farm and played with the goats and piggies.)
Charlotte and her BFF, the goat…that spit at us. 😳
Set aside dedicated time for help with schoolwork and arts/crafts Done this month. (P.S. If you’re wondering how I come up with things to do with my kids, be sure to check out Susan’s Summer Survival Calendar. It’s what I use to plan out our activities!)
2017 Spiritual Goals
I did really great last year with my spiritual goals so I’m not setting any crazy goals for this year. 🙂
Pray 3x a Day (Slowly getting better at this one…)
Complete 3 Bible Studies outside of the Women’s Bible Study Group at church. Finished my Lent study and now I’m working my way through this one for Pentecost.
