2016 Goals Update #6

These are my 2015 goals where I share my blogging income and how I made money blogging along with my personal and financial goals for the year.

If you’re new here, every month I share how I’m doing with my goals for the year. This includes personal, blogging/business, and of course financial goals. This post holds me accountable to the goals I set every year, but more importantly, it helps my readers to see that having financial goals in place are the key to succeeding with money. If you need help setting financial goals, make sure you read this post here on the steps to setting financial goals

Read at least 5 books on business/blogging

What I want to read:

What I Read

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R. Covey – ummm….there’s a reason this book has been a best seller since the 80’s! Oh my goodness, everyone needs to read this book – not just those in business! I’m currently working on the habits to make some incredible and worthwhile changes in my life. The only thing that was challenging with this book is that it’s long and the text is kind of small, but other than that, the material of this book is rock solid!

iBloom in Business – Hands down one of the best business coaching books I’ve ever read! This book is super easy to read and literally walks you through step-by-step painting a clear picture of your business. Seriously, I can’t wait to implement all that I’ve learned from Kelly. And her business funnel that she shares in the book has already convinced me to purchase more of her products so clearly, the business funnel works! Hahahha! 🙂

  1. Ugh, yes. I feel like this summer slump is worse than any before – maybe because we were all affected by the Pinterest change at the same time? I’m sorry your pageviews have fallen so much but know you are not alone! Let’s hope they start picking up for all of us next month!

    1. Thank you so much Kristen! That whole Pinterest change really screwed a lot of us, didn’t it? :-/ But hopefully by Christmas time things will turn around. 🙂

  2. I’m currently working my way through the 7 Habits and I think I need to just go buy a copy. I keep checking out the one from the library. I first came across the book because the author had a comment put on the cover of a parenting book. At first I thought it was a business book, but honestly, it is a LIFE book. My focus for this month, actually, is to be proactive (habit #1).

    1. I was in that same boat Sarah so I just bought a used copy off Amazon. 🙂 It’s definitely a life book and everyone should read it.

  3. 7 Habits has been on my must read list for forever! I need to finally just sit down and read it because I keep hearing great things. I also can’t wait to hear what you think about Launch. I read it last summer and loved it. It’s filled with great info!

    1. I just finished Launch and I’ll be testing it soon! 😉 Definitely a must read for all us online entrepreneurs!
